The recipe for playdough is really simple. But I still managed to make a dud batch. Nothing that couldn't be fixed... even after the kids had given it once around the deck. I took it off the stove too early, so it was a really sticky consistency. It still remains to be proven if this slightly oily colour-full concoction will come out of Sammy's clothes...
But don't be deterred by my error. The kids loved the gooey dough, and when they had smeared it in every way that they wanted to I just scooped up what I could and put it back in the saucepan for a final minute or two. Next time it will be perfect for them!
